OVERVIEW

iSisters Technology Mentoring Inc. is a Canadian charitable organization that was founded in 2001. Since then, we have built eight Learning and Technology centres in Ottawa and graduated over 1400 women from our programs.

iSisters students learn 21st Century skills and, gain confidence towards their own economic independence. We reach women through strategic community-based partnerships. All of our programs are designed and delivered collaboratively with our community partners.   We customize our programs to meet the needs of each woman. 

iSisters programs continue to offer cutting edge technology programs for women who otherwise would be unable to access or afford such services. 

Learners in our programs typically have little or no experience using technology. Most of our learners have limited education and are often intimidated at being in an academic classroom setting. We work with the partner to recruit, maintain and graduate learners from our programs. Our participation completion rate is over 95%.
