Success with computers is at your finger tips.
There is nothing wrong with typing in information one key at a time. However, learning to keyboard will make using computers a lot more enjoyable.
Think about cars and how they get you to places more quickly than walking; effective keyboarding helps you to get things done faster.
Practice Practice Practice!
Be sure to review these exercises as often as you can. The more you practice, the better you will get!
ACTIVITY: Use one or all of the keyboarding resources below to practice your typing. You should practice your typing for at least 15 minutes each class.

Why not have a little fun while improving your keyboarding skills?
Find the Typing Games shortcut on your desktop.
Once there, select a) a game and b) the length of time that you would like to play.
Then select Play Game.
Track your progress. As you complete activities, record them in your Typing Tracker worksheet. You'll be surprised by how quickly you will improve!
