"My Skills Profile"
Find out what job skills you already have.
A lot of what you do in regular life use skills needed on the job.
You should find that many are similar to workplace skills.
What skills do you use?
ACTIVITY:
Remembering the last two exercises, "A Little About Me", and "My Pride Experience",
complete a skills profile chart. This chart will outline
skills that you have and match them to job skills.
STEPS:

Open the file and complete the "My Skills Profile" worksheet. You can print out the worksheet to write on. Or, you can complete it on the computer.
The "Transferable Skills List" provides a list of words often used in job ads and resumes. These words can help you describe your related job skills.
Hand in a copy of your finished worksheet.
