Begin 2 Believe's Volleyball Fundraiser for iSisters

Elation Centre sponsored our Volunteer Appreciation event on April 9th. iSisters volunteers were invited to attend an afternoon of Core Yoga followed by nutricious and delicious smoothies made by Sylvie Gouin, co-founder of Elation Yoga.

March 22nd

The names of the United Way Community Builder Award

recipients were inscribed on The Wall of Inspiration at Ottawa City Hall today, including iSisters volunteer Tim Birch-Jones!

at the Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization (OCISO) on International Women's Day.

Begin2Believe Volleyball Tournament,

November 2010

Begin2Believe for the second time in under three months, held a charity volleyball tournament to raise funds for iSisters!  Thanks to all who supported this event!

Sisters Annaul General Meeting

November 2nd, 2010

Our AGM was held at the United Way Ottawa.  We were pleased to have over 30 people in attendance to enjoy the premiere of a video of our learners produced by Graham Law as well as an update by our elearning team on the next phase of our iteachnology project, Alison Telford from the Cornerstone Women's Centre was our guest speaker and iSisters volunteer, Tim Birch-Jones was surprised with a United Way Community Builder award. Thank-you to all who made the event a success.

Begin2Believe has once again chosen iSisters as their charity of choice for their summer volleyball tournament! We'd love to have you join us!  You can join the iSisters team or create your own team of 6-8 players.
