In April, iSisters was proud to accept the Conference Board of Canada's Global Best Award for Building Learning Communities.

Carleton University Centre for Research and Education on Women and Work is pleased to announce the availability of new bursaries for the Management Development Program for Women (MDPW) for the 2010-11 academic year. This year, there will be 6 Leacross Foundation / R. Bern full bursaries valued at $7,500 each available to women working in the Technology sector, Trades, the Not-for-Profit sector, and Small Business Owners.

iSisters staff members had the pleasure of spending a day learning HTML/CSS through the Ladies Learning Code Workshop on November 24th. They proved to us that learning code could be fun!

The Ottawa Browncoats raised over $3,600 for iSisters at their annual Serenity film screening on Sunday, September 30th at the Mayfair Theatre! Our warmest thanks to all who attended!
Elation Centre Yoga has started a weekly Community Karma Yoga Class devoted to raising funds for iSisters and other charities. The class runs every Sunday starting Sept 16 -Dec 16th.
