TUNGASUVVINGAT INUIT COMMUNITY CENTRE
The Learners : Unemployed or underemployed Inuit women (ages 18 - 35) who use the
counselling services of Tungasuvvingat Inuit Community Centre.

In 2004 iSisters won the Conference Board of Canada's Community Learning Award for our work with Tungasuvvingat Inuit. This award recognizes innovative community-based programs that use
technology to increase inclusiveness
in society.

YOUVILLE CENTRE
The Learners - Young mothers facing economic, social and/or academic barriers who use the education and outreach services of Youville Centre.

The Learners : Youths (ages 6 -17) from disadvantaged circumstances
who use the mentoring services of Big Sisters Big Brothers Ottawa.
ST MARY'S HOME
The Learners
: At risk pregnant teens (ages 13 - 19) who use the support services of St. Mary's Community Outreach and Program Centre.
The Program - The Academic Support Program for the women of St. Mary's focuses on using the Internet, information literacy, Palm Pilot technology and Web design. This program follows the school year and is aligned to provincial curriculum so that the students can earn credit towards graduation through the Ottawa-Carleton Catholic School Board.
