Karen wakes up early in the morning to wake you up with information and a laugh or two. It is on A Channel Morning where she first heard about iSisters and the dedication its founders have to providing women with the resources they need to be introduced to the world of technology.
Karen is a Saskatchewan export and has worked at 3 television stations in Winnipeg during her decade in television broadcasting. Ottawa became her new home in 2001. Karen hosts A Channel Morning and A Channel News at 12:30 .
Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba and a Communications Diploma from Red River College in Winnipeg .
Karen is involved with numerous charities in our city, including Meals on Wheels, and the United Way 's Campaign Cabinet. During her down time Karen enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her husband, in particular traveling together.
