Louisa was Volunteer of the Year at iSisters in 2006 in recognition of her countless hours of contribution and leadership on the iTeachnology development team.
Louisa Lambregts is an alumni of the Interactive Multimedia program at Algonquin College. Prior to attending Algonquin College, she worked for
6 years as a Human Resources Advisor, and spent 2 years teaching English as a Second Language and tutoring high school students.
As a member of the Online Learning Centre support team, Louisa is able to combine her love for content development with her passion for helping people. She provides elearning support to students and teachers. She coordinates the Online Learning Centre's Student Support Lab service which provides one-on-one support to students needing help with basic English, Math and computer skills. She also acts as an educational content developer for the Learning and Teaching Services department, using her multimedia technical skills to create web sites and materials related to learning and teaching.
Louisa holds Honours Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Psychology and as well as an Ontario Teaching Certificate.
