Tim Birch-Jones has worked in the education, media, and communications fields for over 20 years. In his volunteer life, Tim has centred his efforts on helping create positive, constructive experiences for youth either as a coach (for squash and soccer), or by helping to produce videos and/or web-based materials in support of various youth-based charities.
In recent years, Tim has focussed his creative and professional energies designing and building leading edge elearning programs for clients in all industries from all parts of the world. He has written numerous white papers and articles, and led seminars on elearning capacity building and best practices.
As a project management specialist, Tim’s approach is goals-based: establish a clear understanding of desired outcomes, and create tangible measurements to verify that each was met.
Tim holds a degree in broadcasting, as well as numerous project management and facilitation accreditations.
For iSisters, Tim provides process implementation, capacity building, and project management expertise.
Tim lives in Ottawa’s Westboro community with his wife and two children, with whom he loves to play squash and sail his Hobie 18 - Half Full.
